Joyce Ann Silcott, 53, of the 4700 block of Helensburgh Drive, died June 3, 1996, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mrs. Silcott, a native of Portsmouth, was a volunteer for the Virginia Association for the Blind.
Survivors include her husband, D. Wayne Silcott; a daughter, Robin Ann Gavin of Portsmouth; three stepsons, Brian W. Silcott of Portsmouth, Donald L. Silcott of Jacksonville, Fla., and David E. Silcott of Smithfield; her mother, Mrs. Clyde L. Davis of Portsmouth; two sisters, Fay D. Meagher of Portsmouth and Tena D. Neice of Charlotte, N.C.; and a grandson, Bradley C. Gavin.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Loving Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Gene Primm. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
