Norfolk State is one of 186 institutions of higher education in the country participating in the program. The five-week program, June 17 through July 19, is open to all Hampton Roads youngsters ages 10 through 16 and offers quality instruction in softball, tennis, weight training, touch football, basketball, swimming, physical fitness, volleyball, track and field, dance and bowling.

Also included in the program are drug and alcohol prevention efforts, and instruction in mathematics, science, health, nutrition, job opportunities and AIDS education. A physical examination is required for registration. For more information, call 683-8055. by CNB
