DISTRICT A

Motor vehicle theft, 6000 block Camellia Drive, May 23, someone removed a gray, two-door, 83 Buick Skylark.

Grand larceny, 4700 block Sleepy Hole Road, May 27, someone removed four black, pot-belly pigs.

Breaking and entering, 6000 block Camellia Drive, May 28, someone entered a residence, causing $75 in damage to the bedroom window. A gray Century safe valued at $39 and containing cash was removed. Also removed was a gray safe valued at $59 containing a Motorola Deluxe Alpha flip cellular phone valued at $129.

DISTRICT B

Breaking and entering, 5400 block Nansemond Parkway, May 24, someone entered a business through a broken side door. A gray 96 Ford F150 hood valued at $220 was removed.

DISTRICT C

Breaking and entering, 100 block Cherry Street, May 23, someone attempted to enter a business by prying up a metal screen.

Motor vehicle theft, 100 block Lee Street, May 26, someone removed a blue, 92 Mercedes Benz 300E.

Motor vehicle theft, 400 block Market Street, May 27, as a woman approached her vehicle, she noticed a brick in the front seat and a broken right rear window. The ignition switch was damaged, and the vehicle was not where it had been parked earlier.

DISTRICT D

Breaking and entering, 1200 block Forest Oak Lane, May 23, someone entered a bedroom through a sliding glass door and removed a wallet. The wallet was later turned in. Missing items included four credit cards, three licenses, social security cards and pictures.

Armed robbery, 100 block North Lloyd Street, May 23, someone was approached by a beige, '97 Chevy van. The front passenger asked to borrow a dollar and then displayed a sawed-off pump shotgun. He took the victim's wallet containing money.

Armed robbery, Pinner Street and Washington Street, May 24, a man was threatened by two other men wielding a stick. They said they had a gun. They took $2 and ran.

Throw missile at vehicle, South Main Street Overpass, May 24, someone threw an object that struck the windshield of a 95 Huyndai.

Grand larceny, 1100 block Nansemond Parkway, May 24, someone entered a yard and removed a 6-7-month old female Rottweiler valued at $200. The dog was wearing a bright, multi-colored collar and is named ``Nala.''

Breaking and entering, 100 block Morgan Street, May 25, someone pried open a bedroom window to enter a residence. An AM/FM cassette-turntable stereo and one GPX Electronics R6600-HM model speaker were removed.

Armed robbery, Bank Street and Division Street, two men approached a man at gun point and demanded money. They removed money, a gold watch and necklace before fleeing.

Motor vehicle theft, 200 block Holladay Street, May 25, someone removed a burgundy, 2-door, 80 Oldsmobile. The owner advises that he went into a house to get his girlfriend and left the door open with the keys in the vehicle. He returned to discover the vehicle gone.

Breaking and entering, 30 block Stacey Drive, May 26, someone entered a residence and removed a Sega Genesis game with two controls and two cartridges. A Super Nintendo game with two controls and one cartridge was also removed.

Carjacking, 600 block East Washington Street, May 26, someone was approached by a young man brandishing an automatic handgun. The assailant cocked the gun and stated, ``You better get out of here,'' and then proceeded to pull the trigger. The gun sounded like it jammed, and the victim fled on foot. The youth entered the vehicle and drove away.

Vandalism, 300 block Bullock Street, May 26, someone returned home and was advised by his neighbors that a lot of shot had been fired into his residence. He found a lot of damage caused by bullets fired at the house.

Vandalism, 1300 block East Washington Street, May 27, someone reports that her daughter notified her that her vehicle had been vandalized. The car was discovered to have a broken passenger window.

Threaten to burn, 10 block Stacey Drive, May 28, someone reports that during an altercation, a man threatened to blow up the apartment. He also kicked in the lower door to the residence.

DISTRICT E

Shoot into occupied dwelling, 8400 block Robbie Road, May 25, someone shot a BB through the front window of a residence.

DISTRICT F

Petty larceny, 300 block Benton Road, May 25, someone entered a vehicle and removed a Motorola cell phone valued at $150. ILLUSTRATION: CRIME LINE

On May 14, a man was grabbed as he walked in the 500 block of

Battery Avenue. The thief demanded money. When the victim pulled

away, he was shot in the left buttock.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 20, 5 foot 7,

weighing 135 pounds, with a light beard. He was wearing blue jeans

and a blue hooded sweat shirt.

Suffolk Police also are asking help with these larcenies:

Downtown, someone entered a 1984 Pontiac parked near Chestnut

Street and removed a Generation IV Kirby vacuum cleaner valued at

$1,600.

Sleepy Hole, someone entered a back yard and removed four chrome

mag wheels and four Eagle GT tires from a 1982 Nissan 280ZX.
