Tinnie Twiddy, 83, of 945 Macedonia Road, died June 5, 1996, at her residence.
She was retired from the Edenton Cotton Mill and the daughter of the late Sarah Ellen and Thomas Franklin Twiddy. She also was a member of the First Christian Church in Edenton.
Survivors include a daughter, Grace Hudson Dobson of Edenton; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Beaver Hill Cemetery in Edenton with the Revs. E.C. Alexander and Thomas Biggs officiating. Evans Funeral Home in Edenton is handling the arrangements.
