Allen Moore, 85, of the 2200 block of Nashville Ave., died June 4, 1996. He was a member of Third Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mamie R. Moore; two daughters, Minnie Whitehead and Gwendolyn Henderson; two sons, Tony Whitehead and Moses Whitehead; 22 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Joe B. Fleming at Third Baptist Church. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. The body will be in the church at 11 a.m. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge.
