Dondra Bernice Bell ``Don'' Sparrow, 39, of the 1400 block of Sheridan Point, died June 1, 1996, in Winn Army Community Hospital, Hinesville.
Mrs. Sparrow, a native of Norfolk County, was an operations clerk in the U.S. Army. She was a member of Cathedral of Faith Church of God In Christ, Chesapeake.
Survivors include her husband, U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Terry L. Sparrow; three daughters, Venika D. Sparrow of Norfolk, Airman Terri L. Gaines of Little Rock, Ark., Airman Basic Lakeisha S. Sparrow of Robins, Air Force Base, Ga.; a son, Terrance L. Sparrow of Barstow, Calif.; her father, James H. Bell Sr. of Los Angeles, Calif.; four sisters, Debra Nixon of Portsmouth, Nadine Williams of Los Angeles, Natalie Bell and Norie Bell, both of San Francisco, Calif.; a brother, James H. Bell Jr. of Barstow; two grandchildren; and many other surviving relatives and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday by Elder Dr. G. Wesley Hardy at Cathedral of Faith Church of God in Christ. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. The family will be at 1750 Oliver Ave., Chesapeake. Fitchett Funeral Home is in charge.
