EDWARD G. STARCK

Edward Gunnar Starck, 45, of the 100 block of Golden Maple Drive, died Wednesday June 4, 1996, in a local hospital.

Mr. Starck was a native of Germany and worked as an aviation tech at NAESU for civil service. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of VFW Post (NU)392 of Virginia Beach.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Starck; two sons, Shawn Starck and Christopher Starck, both of Virginia Beach; a brother, Robin Starck of Norfolk; four sisters, Barbara Starck, Shirley Goldberg, Rosemary Kavadias, all of Portsmouth, and Julianne Cronin of Alexandria, Va.; and a beloved grandson, Chase Pounders of Virginia Beach.

The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel, Virginia Beach. The services will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home, by Father James Noto of Saint Nicholas Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach.
