Elaine Porter, 64, of the 4300 block of Sugar Leaf Court, died Wednesday, June 5, 1996, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Porter is survived by her husband, Ray Porter, of Virginia Beach; a son, Don Collins of Omaha, Neb.; two daughters, Cathy Matheson of Atlanta and Barbara Searfino of Norfolk; two brothers and a sister; and seven beloved grandchildren. She is also survived by a personal good friend, Glenda Pyles.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at their home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
