A 14-year-old boy died Thursday night after he was stabbed during a dispute in the Park Place section, police said.
Police are looking for a 36-year-old California man in connection with the killing.
Derrick Joseph King of the 400 block of W. 28th was pronounced dead after paramedics and police came to his home about 6:40 p.m. after a reported stabbing.
A murder warrant was issued Thursday night for Keith ``Shabazz'' Tharpe of Sacramento, Calif.
He is described as black, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, 150 pounds, bald, with light-colored skin. He is missing a front tooth and has a scar on his right hand.
It was unclear what the dispute that lead to the stabbing was about. Tharpe was visiting the area, police said.
