In Tuesday's Scholastic Achievement section, the pictures of
Gregory Joseph Peterson and Amber Renee Stewart of Deep Creek High
School were reversed. The pictures appear correctly here.
Jefferson Starship, with guitarist Paul Kantner, vocalist Marty
Balin and bassist Jack Casady, plays Sunday at 8 p.m. at the 24th
Street Oceanfront stage. A story and photo in Thursday's Daily Break
misidentified the group as Starship with Mickey Thomas.
Adm. Jay L. Johnson, nominated as chief of naval operations, was
commander of Carrier Group Eight aboard the carrier Theodore
Roosevelt.
Also, Vice Adm. Harold W. Gehman Jr. is deputy commander-in-chief
and chief of staff of the Norfolk-based Atlantic Command.
A story Thursday had errors in describing their backgrounds.
Singer Mark Chesnutt's name was misspelled in a headline in
Thursday's Daily Break. He will perform at 5 p.m. Sunday at
