I have been a supporter of Sen. John Warner since he first was elected to the Senate and have voted for him each time that he has run. However, I have voted for him for the last time - not because of any specification of his which has displeased me, but for two other reasons.
I strongly believe in term limits for all elected offices. Senator Warner has been in the Senate long enough and on the whole has done a good job.
The longer an elected office is held, the more power and arrogance accrues to the officeholder.
