Even those who didn't get downtown Friday night to hear Bill Deal and Fat Ammon or Saturday night to see the spectacular fireworks show over the Elizabeth River harbor still have time to enjoy the 20th annual Seawall Festival today.
The festival will continue today, opening at noon and continuing until 6 p.m. There'll be music and plenty of food at reasonable prices. Most of all there's lots of things for children to do and a craft show with 40 booths for their parents and grandparents.
The festival is an event aimed at the whole family. Those who pass it by because they think it is a loud, drinking party are missing a wonderful opportunity to enjoy Portsmouth's Downtown waterfront.
We recommend it to those who haven't tried it on a Sunday afternoon. by CNB
