JEAN BONNER

Evelyn Runyon Bonner, 71, of the 100 block of Hanbury Ave., died Friday June 7, 1996, in her residence.

Mrs. Bonner, a native of Muncie, Ind., was the daughter of the late Ollen C. Runyon and Effie Julian Runyon. She was a member of Cradock Presbyterian Church, Friendship Bible class, and life member of Presbyterian Women and Women of The Moose Chapter 966, and AARP.

Survivors include her husband, George A. Bonner; two daughters, Rebecca B. ``Becky'' Yaeckel of Portsmouth, Elizabeth Anne ``Betsy'' Brown and her husband, Steven J., of Chesapeake; a son, George A. ``Bud'' Bonner Jr. and his wife, Laura Dunn, of Virginia Beach; a sister, Dorothy Cutrell of Newark, Ohio; a brother, Robert O. Runyon and his wife, Rita, of Anderson, Ind.; three grandchildren, Amy and Jake Yaeckel, Wes Brown; numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday by the Rev. Richard W. Lovingood in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel. Entombment will be in Meadowbrook Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cradock Presbyterian Church Capital Improvement Fund.
