ANGELA A. SANCHEZ

Angela Aurora Sanchez, 88, of the 4600 block of Paul Revere Road, died June 8, 1996, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Sanchez, the widow of Gregory Sanchez, was a native of the Dominican Republic. She was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Annabelle Napierkowski and her husband, Eugene, of Virginia Beach; a son, Louis Sanchez and his wife, Louisa, of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren, Michael, Maria, and David, all of Virginia Beach; and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Sanchez lived in Virginia Beach for 31 years. She was a high school teacher for 18 years at the IPA, Panama, R.P. She was a kind and gentle person who loved her family and friends dearly. She enjoyed life, card playing, and her flowers, but mostly she enjoyed the union of family and friends. She will be dearly missed.

The family will receive friends at the residence, 4656 Paul Revere Road, Virginia Beach. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation. A Christian wake service will be held at 3 p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel. A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Monday by Father Anselm Ober in St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park.
