Abram Clifton ``Abe'' Ricks Sr., 51, of the 1400 block of W. 39th St., died June 6, 1996.
Mr. Ricks was born in Norfolk and was a son of the late Catherine and Abe Ricks. He was a former employee of Hampton Roads Sanitation.
Survivors include his wife, Roberta Ricks; two daughters, Cosina Edwards and Cathy Ricks, and a son, Abram C. Ricks Jr., all of Norfolk; six sisters, Maggie Richardson, Emma Riddick, Estella Shahid of Norfolk, Ruth Leveston of Portsmouth, Thelma Gainer of Trenton, N.J, and Annie Williams of Richmond; and a brother, William Ricks of Portsmouth.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Hale Funeral Home by the Rev. Rayphield Clay. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
