Louise M. Holloway, a native of Princess Anne County and later a resident of Norfolk, departed this life on Thursday, June 6, 1996, shortly after arriving at DePaul Medical Center.
She was predeceased by her husband, William Holloway and sons, Sherman and George. Mrs. Holloway was a devoted member of Shiloh Baptist Church and served on Usher Board (NU)2, the Stewardship Group of the Missionaries and was a member of the W.L. Hamilton Bible Class. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and retired from Norfolk Community Hospital after more than 25 years of service.
Mrs. Holloway leaves to mourn her passing a brother, Johnnie Malbon Sr.; granddaughter, Sherry Everett and her two children, Steven Everett and Tera Humphreys; a devoted nephew, niece and grand-niece, Johnnie Jr., Joyce and Joyvan Malbon; two grandsons, Michael and William; two sisters-in-law, Leona Malbon and Nellie Malbon; brother-in-law, John Johnson; many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today in Shiloh Baptist Church. Dr. John Foster will officate. The family will gather at the church for the procession. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
