HELEN BISHOP

Helen Bishop, 59, of the 4800 block of Novella Avenue, died June 9, 1996, peacefully at home.

Born in Manhattan, N.Y., she was an attendant for the Louise W. Eggleston Center. She was a member of Olive Grove Baptist Church and the Nurses Unit.

Survivors include her daughter, Martha Hodnett of Virginia Beach; three sons, Rolanda Cepeda of Baltimore, Esteban Cepeda Jr. of Chesapeake and Miguel Rodriguez of New York; a sister, Margarita Riveria of Norfolk; a brother, Victor Romero of Miami; and a host of loving church members and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Olive Grove Baptist Church, Norfolk, by the Rev. Harry A. Davis. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Linden, N.J. Viewing will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Riddick Funeral Service. Mrs. Bishop will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Wednesday. A service will also be held in New York on Friday, June 14. Internment will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Linden, N.J.
