M. Eileen B. Trueblood, of Old Drive, died June 10, 1996.
Born in Roanoke Rapids, N.C., Mrs. Trueblood was a library assistant for the Armed Forces Staff College. She was a member of Great Bridge Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Reginald B. Trueblood; her mother, Mary Clifton Steele of Chesapeake; a sister, Elizabeth B. Gossett of Virginia Beach; two brothers, James C. Barnette of Virginia Beach and Alan B. Barnette of Chesapeake; a brother-in-law, John N. Trueblood of Washington; and several nieces and nephews of Virginia, North Carolina and Washington.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Ramon Owens Jr. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial donations may be made to the Chesapeake Humane Society.
