Everette K. Wilson, 78, died June 10, 1996, in a local hospital.
A native of Norfolk, Mr. Wilson was a member of the United Church of Christ, Virginia Beach. Mr. Wilson was president of E.K. Wilson & Sons, Heating and Plumbing. He was a charter member of the Norfolk Sertoma Club and president of the Norfolk Builders and Contractors Exchange. He also was a Shriner, a Mason and a Epithian.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia W. Wilson; a daughter, Claudia W. Brooks of Virginia Beach; a sister, Martha Bradley of Florida; a brother, Guy R. Wilson of Norfolk; a grandson, Kevin E. Brooks and a granddaughter, Mary Keith Brooks, both of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Princess Anne Memorial Park by the Rev. Dr. Richard MacCullagh. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
