SUFFOLK CRIME REPORT

DISTRICT A

Grand larceny, 1600 block West Adams Drive, June 1, someone entered a vehicle and removed a Sony portable CD player and a Motorola car phone. Another Motorola car phone was removed from a different car parked at the same location.

Lost/stolen, June 3, someone said that he misplaced his city sticker.

Breaking and entering, 5600 block Plummer Boulevard, June 4, someone entered a residence through a kitchen window and removed a Magnovox color television, one Magnovox 6-inch color television, and a Sony Walkman color television. The house was also ransacked.

DISTRICT B

Grand larceny, 2800 block Kings Highway, May 30, someone entered an unsecured fenced area and entered four large tool boxes that had been locked with padlocks. Tools valued at $1,075 were removed.

Lost/stolen, 5600 block Godwin Boulevard, June 5, someone reports his Suffolk city decal lost or stolen.

DISTRICT C

Breaking and entering, 200 block South Wellons Street, May 30, someone entered a shed by prying the locks off the door. A red and silver 77 Peugot moped was removed.

Breaking and entering, 200 block Lee Street, June 1, someone entered an apartment building and spoke with the occupant through her front door. The man requested entry but the woman had a protective order against him. The man broke the door but fled when the woman said she was calling police.

Vandalism, 200 block North Broad Street, June 1, someone either shot out or threw rocks to break four stained-glass windows valued at $100 each.

Hit and run, 600 block Battery Avenue, June 3, someone driving a car struck a bicycle rider, colliding into the rider's left leg and causing him to fall off his bike into a ditch.

Breaking and entering, 200 block Pine Street, June 3, someone reports that after opening a business, he discovered the safe to be missing. The safe is gray and was sitting on a table just under a large window facing the front of the office. There were no signs of forced entry.

Breaking and entering, 200 block North Street, June 4, someone entered a house through the back door and removed a 13-inch Zenith television.

Grand larceny, 1200 block North Main Street, June 4, someone removed a Motorola cellular phone from a vehicle.

Grand larceny, 2600 block Godwin Boulevard, June 5, someone removed a Mazda CD car stereo valued at $500 from a 92 Mazda and damaged the rear seats.

DISTRICT D

Grand larceny, 2200 block East Washington Street, June 1, someone removed a Davis Industries Model P-380 firearm from a nightstand. A gold ring with a ``J'' on it was also removed from the top of the dresser. There were no signs of forced entry.

Breaking and entering, 1000 Block Cogic Square, June 1, someone removed three gold chains, three gold rings, two silver bracelets and a Sony Walkman from a residence.

Breaking and entering, 2300 block East Washington Street, June 3, someone entered a classroom by breaking a window. A VCR was removed.

Grand larceny, 600 block Constance Road, June 3, someone removed a container parked at Henry Trucking. The trailer is green with an evergreen on the side.

Hit and run, 60 block Stacey Drive, June 3, someone driving a pink and white van with 30-day plates backed into a vehicle causing $450 in damages, then left the scene without stopping.

Vandalism, 200 block East Washington Street, June 4, someone reports that the rear door and door knob of a business were damaged with a blunt object.

Grand larceny, 400 block East Washington Street, June 4, someone entered a vacant warehouse by removing a gate. Copper pipes and wiring were removed. The panel boxes were destroyed to remove copper. A water heater and a propane heater also were taken. by CNB
