Jennette H. Marshall, 91, of the 1500 block of Mount Vernon Ave., died June 10, 1996, at Maryview Hospital, Portsmouth.
Mrs. Marshall, the widow of Henry L. Marshall, was a native of Nansemond County, Va. She was a member of New First Baptist Church Taylorsville, Portsmouth. She was a faithful member of The Willing Pulpiteers, The Open Door Club, and The Fellowship Prayer Circle.
Survivors include a daughter, Clarine M. Lowe of Chesapeake; a son, Willie L. Marshall Sr. of Portsmouth; a sister, Lillian H. Bowser of New Jersey; two grandchildren, Delores M. Lewis of Chesapeake and Willie L. Marshall Jr. of Hampton; three great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Vera H. Marshall; four nieces; two nephews; and a host of cousins, in-laws and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Friday by the Rev. T.M. Steele in New First Baptist Church Taylorsville. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. The viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at 10 a.m. today. The body will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Friday. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
