Christopher Scott Kight, 24, died June 9, 1996, in Cocoa Beach, Fla., of an auto accident.
Mr. Kight, a native of Newbern, N.C., attended Indian River High School.
Survivors include his parents, Rebecca Kight and Larry C. Kight, both of Chesapeake; two brothers, Jonathan Kight and Jason Kight, both of Chesapeake; maternal grandmother, Christine Sawyer of Greenville, N.C.; paternal grandfather, John A. Kight of Chillicothe, Ohio.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters in his name.
