Bettye J. Massey Gibson, of the 600 block of East Coral Key, died June 11, 1996. She was a native of Johnstown, Pa.
Survivors include her husband, Napoleon Gibson; two daughters, Denise M. Taylor of Moreno Valley, Calif., Deidre R. Gonzales of Saudi Arabia; her father, James L. Massey of Detroit, Mich.; four sisters, Delores Boykins and Rita William, both of Johnstown, Valerie Bogus and Florence Welch, both of Detroit; six brothers, Booker T. Massey of Johnstown, James Massey of Buffalo, N.Y., Robert Massey of Virginia Beach, Ernest Massey of Landover, Md., Cammie Massey of Alexandria, Va. and Raymond Massey of Chicago; a grandchild, Nicholas S. Taylor; a host of uncles, aunts, other relatives and friends; a godchild, Sean B. Massey; a very special person, Carrie ``Susie'' Massey; and two sons-in-law, Timothy and Rudy.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday by Bishop Anthony Moses in Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Garden.
