WEEKEND

YOU'VE HEARD music. You've seen films. Now it's time for the event at the core of the Boardwalk International Arts Festival.

The 41st Annual Virginia Beach Boardwalk Art Show - the area's oldest and largest outdoor art show - continues today, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. It's located along the Beach boardwalk, from 15th to 31st streets.

Look for more than 450 artists tucked in tents filled with paintings, prints, sculpture, pottery and more.

The concerts and films that have enlivened this festival continue this weekend, too.

Call 425-0000 for more information, or check our schedule on Page ?.

Saturday

THERE'S PLENTY of room at the Hotel California. And with a top price of nearly $80, there are plenty of tickets left to see the Eagles Wednesday at the Virginia Beach Amphitheater. You'll pay that much when hell freezes over? That's what the band said about getting back together. Could be your last chance to see the influential country-rockers. It begins at 8 p.m. $79.50 and $44.50, plus parking and service charges. Order at 671-8100.

Blackhawk hits the stage at 8:30 p.m. Saturday with John Berry and Terri Clark closing out the action-acked weekend at 7 p.m. Sunday. Tickets for each day run $14 advance; $17 at the gate. 363-4311.
