CHESAPEAKE - Christopher Scott Kight, 24, died June 9, 1996, in an auto accident in Cocoa Beach, Fla.
Born in Newbern, N.C., he attended Indian River High School.
Survivors include his parents, Rebecca Kight and Larry C. Kight, both of Chesapeake; two brothers, Jonathan Kight and Jason Kight, both of Chesapeake; maternal grandmother, Christine Sawyer of Greenville, N.C.; and paternal grandfather, John A. Kight of Chillicothe, Ohio.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters in his name.
