OTIS L. JONES

Otis Lee Jones, 39, of the 200 block of E. Virginia Beach Blvd., died June 9, 1996, in his residence.

Born in Virginia Beach, he was an administrator for the State Department in Washington, D.C. He was a member of the Holiness faith. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Washington, D.C., in Urban Studies. He also furthered his studies at American University.

Survivors include two sisters, Barbara Jones Dance of Norfolk and Mary Jones Martin of New York City; six aunts and uncles; two nieces, Trina Jones of Norfolk and Adrian Jones of New York City; three nephews, Vincent Jones of Norfolk and Corey Jones and Rasheem Jones, both of New York City; five great-nieces; two brothers-in-law and a host of other cousins, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ella Mae Jones.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday by Dr. Wilbert L. Daniels in St. Pauls C.O.G.I.C. in Norfolk. Burial will be in Jones Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge. The family will be receiving friends at 239 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk.
