THOMAS S. TEMPLE

Thomas Shirley Temple died June 12, 1996.

He is survived by a daughter, Irene W. Temple and a son, Richard B. Temple, both of Richmond; three brothers, Richard Bertram Temple of Dinwiddie, William Temple of Tucson, Ariz., and Howard Temple of Lynn Haven, Fla.; two sisters, Mary Ellen Dorey of Norfolk and Nancy Porter of Virginia Beach.

Mr. Temple was born in Dinwiddie County June 26, 1921. He served in the Army Air Corps in World War II and was a civil engineering graduate of Virginia Tech. He was the director of buildings and grounds at MCV and retired as the director of the Real Estate division of the State ABC Board. Mr. Temple was an avid golfer and a member of the Rating team of the Central District of the Virginia State Golfing Association.

A memorial service will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. in the Huguenot Chapel of the Woody Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
