Theodore ``Teddy'' Stefanou, 51, died Saturday June 15, 1996, in his home.
Mr. Stefanou was the current president of Jacksonville Civitan Club. He was a former teacher and coach for Millbrook High School, Ravenscroft High, where he led the football program to a state championship and also at Southwest-Onslow High School.
He is survived by his mother, Anastasia Regas Stefanou of Jacksonville; two sisters, Mary Galanides of Sandbridge in Virginia Beach, and Diane Gause of Jacksonville; and a brother, George Stefanou of New York.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Annes Episcopal Church with the Rev. James C. Cooke officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the home of Ricky and Diane Gause, 2915 Northwoods Drive, Jacksonville. Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville, is handling arrangements.
