Elizabeth Underwood Bullock went to be with her Lord on June 15, 1996.
She was a native of Richmond and a 1935 graduate of Chester High School. She was married to Thomas H. Bullock Sr. in 1937 and together they raised four children. She was a retail florist for over 50 years, owner of Mobile Towne Trailer Park for over 30 years and a dedicated, lifelong member of Webber Memorial Baptist Church where she served faithfully as church trustee, Sunday school teacher and historian. She was a charter member of the Winding Brook Garden Club and an officer of the Greater Richmond Florist Association.
She is survived by three daughters, June Aldridge, Brenda Dinsmore of Virginia Beach and Regina Bareford; and a son, Thomas H. Bullock Jr. Elizabeth was ``Granny'' to eight grandchildren, Keith, Kelly, Tim, Jud, Christi, Jonathan, Jessica and Robert and a great-grandchild, Michael Wayne. She is also survived by two brothers, Russell J. Underwood of Richmond and Warren J. Underwood of Newport News.
Her remains rest at Bliley Funeral Home's Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Road, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today. A funeral will be held at noon Monday in her beloved church, Webber Memorial Baptist, 7800 Salem Church Road. Interment will be in Maury Cemetery.
