Willie Roy Blythe, 75, a native of Southampton County, died Friday June 14, 1996, in Southampton Memorial Hospital.
He was a member of Hunterdale United Church of Christ and was a retired farmer. He was the son of the late Dan Blythe and Bessie M. Blythe of Southampton County. He was predeceased by two brothers, Emerson L. Blythe and D.C. Blythe.
Survivors include two nieces, Betty B. Darden of Franklin and Carolyn A. Willman of Suffolk; a nephew, Robert Earl Blythe of Franklin; a sister-in-law, Mildred Carter of Franklin; four great-nieces, Angela C. Jeffries, Kelley Willman, Amy Blythe and Kimberly Blythe; two great-nephews, John D. Cornwell and Bernie Willman; two great-great-nieces, Betty Ann Jeffries and Erica Davis; and a great-great-nephew, John D. Cornwell Jr.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday in Wright Funeral Home by the Rev. James X. Camak. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
