Joseph Vautrin

VIRGINIA BEACH - Joseph Vautrin, 15, of the 1900 block of Nettle St., died June 15, 1996, in a Virginia Beach hospital.

Born in Meadowbrook, Pa., Joseph was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church in Virginia Beach and a student at Kellam High School. He was an avid surfer and was a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop (NU)306.

Survivors include his parents, Joanna Moreni Vautrin and Eric R. Vautrin; a sister, Danielle Vautrin; and a brother, Matthew Vautrin, all of Virginia Beach; maternal grandfather, Peter Moreni of Philadelphia; paternal grandfather, Maurice Vautrin of Virginia Beach; paternal grandmother, Lea Lillette of France; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. Luke's Catholic Church, 2304 Salem Road, by Father Eugene J. Teslovic. Friends may join the family at the church for viewing and visitation from noon to 7 p.m. Wednesday. Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, is handling arrangements.
