FAYE V. BUTLER

Faye V. Butler, of the 2400 block of Stribling Lane, died June 17, 1996, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Butler was a native of Columbus, Ga. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, George Jacob Butler. She was a member of St. Pius the Tenth Catholic Church in Norfolk and a volunteer at DePaul Hospital.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda and her husband, Richard S. Costigan Jr. of Granite Bay, Calif., Mary Catherine Butler of Norfolk; two grandsons, Richard S. Costigan III Esq. and his wife, Gloria, of Granite Bay, and Lt. Christopher G. Costigan, JACG, U.S. Navy Reserves, of Coronada, Calif.; and a great-grandson, Eric S. Costigan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 20, at St. Pius X Catholic Church by Father William J. Dale. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. A Christian Wake service will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. in St. Pius the Tenth Catholic Church. Memorial donations may be made to the Father Francis X. Toner Scholarship Fund, c/o St. Pius X Catholic School, 7800 Halpin Drive, Norfolk, Va. 23518. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
