HENRY B. WOMACK

Henry Bernard Womack, 86, of the 300 block of Lynnshores Drive, died Monday, June 17, 1996, in a Virginia Beach hospital.

Mr. Womack was born in Prince Edward County, Va., and was the son of the late Henry Newton and Eva Hamilton Womack. He was the widower of Bernice Thackston Womack. Mr. Womack was a retired carpenter and a member of the Carpenter's Local Union. He was also a member of Madisonville Presbyterian Church and was an Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Womack was a resident of Lynn Shores Nursing Home for 17 years.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Connie W. McFaden and Mrs. Cynthia C. White; a son, Ronald W. Womack; and a grandson, all of Chesapeake; three sisters, Mrs. Blair Ranck of Lynchburg, Va., Miss Sally K. Womack of Richmond, Va., and Mrs. Vera W. Copple of Cullen, Va.; a brother, Wilson W. Womack of Forest, Va.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Rosewood Memorial Park with military honors. The family will receive friends in Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, today from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
