Lina Oden Burrus, 75, died Monday June 17, 1996, in a Nags Head nursing home.
Mrs. Burrus, a native of Hatteras, N.C., was the former co-owner and operator of the Sea Otel Motel and the Dareolina Restaurant and was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Erskine S. and Esta Rollinson Oden and the widow of the late Archie Burrus II.
Mr. Burrus is survived by a son, Archie D. Burrus of Manteo; and a brother, Herbert Oden of Hatteras, N.C.
The funeral will be conducted at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Wednesday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Robert Bundy. The family will receive friends at Twiford's Funeral Home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and at other times at the residence in Mother Vineyard. Twiford's Colony Chapel, Manteo, is in charge of arrangements.
