LULA N. TAYLOR

Lula Naomi Taylor, 73, of the 700 block of Gainsborough Court, died June 16, 1996.

She was a native of Norfolk and a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church, Chesapeake. She retired as supervisor from Vegetable-Packers Company. Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her daughter, Dorothy Taylor Jones.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Luther A. and Freda Taylor of Chesterfield County, Charles O. and Billie Jean Taylor of Chesapeake, Perdue and Frances Edwards of Melbourne, Fla.; a sister, Thelma Eure Evans of Tennessee; a brother, the Rev. Paul J. Eure of Norfolk; 10 grandchildren, Chuck, Scott and Kimberly Taylor, Keith, Kourtney and Kraig Taylor, Kristen Taylor Barnette, Karen, Anita and Shari Jones; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday by the Revs. Bob McIvor and Paul J. Eure in Oak Grove United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends at the Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. and at her son's residence, 821 Nugent Drive, Chesapeake, all other times.
