Charles Powers, 8, died Sunday June 16, 1996, at home.
He is survived by his parents, Deborah and Max Powers; his sister, Christine Powers of the home; paternal grandfather, C.R. Powers of Orlando, Fla.; maternal grandparents, Katharine and Charles Abbott of Virginia Beach.
The funeral will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in Jones Funeral Home Chapel, Jacksonville. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Childrens Hospital Foundation, P.O.
