The Norfolk Department of Parks and Recreation is sponsoring a Summer Food Service Program.
The program, in cooperation with the USDA and Norfolk School Food Service, provides nutritious lunches free of charge to children 18 years old and under without regard to race, sex, color, age, national origin or handicap. Lunches will be provided during the serving times through Aug. 15. For more information, call the recreation center in your community.
Lunches will be served at the following locations:
Ballentine Elementary School, 2415 Ballentine Blvd., noon to 2 p.m.
Barraud Park, Vista Avenue, 11:50 a.m. to 1:50 p.m.
Berkley Community Center, 89 Liberty St., noon to 2 p.m.
Bowling Green Center, 1319 Godfrey Ave., 1 to 3 p.m.
Calvert Square Center, 975 Bagnall Road, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
