Ellen Dillon Hathaway, 63, died Saturday June 15, 1996, in Suffolk.
She was born in Bertie County, N.C. Mrs. Hathaway was the daughter of the late Spurgon Lee and Lucy Ellen Ward Harrison, and wife of the late Russell Hathaway. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Dillon Case; two sisters, Annie Hall and Ruth Williams, both of Gates County; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will take place at a later date. Twiford Funeral Home, Great Bridge, is handling local arrangements.
