Jewell Belote Foley, 80, formerly of Cape Charles, Va., died June 18, 1996, in Memorial Hospital, The Woodlands.
She was the daughter of the late Harvey W. Belote Sr. and Frances Wilson Belote. She retired from the Pentagon and IDA as administrative assistance. She was a native of Cape Charles and was predeceased by a sister, Marguerite Belote, and a brother, Harvey W. Belote Jr.
Survivors include three nieces, Sandra K. Lambertson of Spring, Karen Ann Wright of Littleton, N.C., and Jan Goffigon Belote of Richmond; two nephews, Harvey W. Belote III of Cape Charles and Reade H. Belote of Onley, Va.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday by the Rev. Dr. Anthony W. Dick in Cape Charles Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to American Lung Association, Box 7065, Richmond, Va. 23221. Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home, Cape Charles, is in charge.
