BEATRICE H. WOMACK

Beatrice H. Womack, of the 1100 block of Logan St., died June 16, 1996, in a North Carolina hospital.

Mrs. Womack, the widow of Taft Womack, was a native of Nash County, N.C. She retired from the Naval Supply Center after 20 years of service. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Norfolk, and the female usher board (NU)2, and the Tuesday Bible study. She was a member of Titustown, Logan Park floral club.

Survivors include a daughter, Arthrell D. Sanders of Rougemont, N.C.; a son, William H. Dupree of Reidsville, N.C.; a sister, Claretha Thorne of Norfolk; three grandchildren, Claire Ann Sanders of Durham, N.C., Mark Allen Sanders of Atlanta, and Angela O. Roberson of Raleigh, N.C.; a great-grandchild, Nicole A. Roberson of Raleigh; and an aunt, Katie P. White of Portsmouth.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday by the Rev. James H. Harrie in Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Farmville, N.C. Joyner's Mortuary, Farmville, is in charge. Hale Funeral Home provided information.
