He was the beloved husband of Linda; loving father of John B. III, Susan Kelli, and Amy Watson Messinger; devoted son of John B. Sr. and Margaret; dear brother of Margaret Fox, Nancy Fay, and Sharon Briggs; loving grandfather of David.
A visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. in Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel. Services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Friday in the Rock Church. Interment will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park.
