Columbus ``Teddy'' Staton Jr., 51, of the 200 block of Hough Ave., died June 17, 1996, at a local hospital.
He was a native of Norfolk and a member of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Norfolk.
Survivors include a daughter, Traci Edmonds; his mother, Nina L. Turner; two sisters, Barbara Staton and Wanda U. Smith; four brothers, Henry Staton, Charles Staton, Melvin Upsher, David Upsher; two grandchildren, Tierra Edmonds and Brandon Edmunds; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Monday by Dr. I. Joseph Williams in Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at 232 Hough Ave., Norfolk, Monday at 11 a.m. for the funeral procession to the church. Metropolitan Funeral Service is in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
