``Wine Down With Jazz,'' scheduled for June 27 on the Portsmouth campus of Tidewater Community College, has been canceled by Ports Events.
The Saturday afternoon party was postponed after ticket sales were slow. Ports Events officials said the event conflicted with a free festival at Waterside in Norfolk that possibly affected sales.
Ten Virginia vineyards and wineries and two jazz bands had planned to participate. The event may be scheduled later in the year. by CNB
