VERNELL H. GLOVER

Vernell Harrell Glover, 78, of the 2100 block of Holland Road, died June 22, 1996, in her residence.

Mrs. Glover, a homemaker, was a native of Bertie County, N.C. She was the widow of William Grafton Glover and a charter member of Liberty Baptist Church, Suffolk, and its Sarah E. Powell Sunday school class.

Survivors include three daughters, Linda G. Riggins, Sandra G. Johnson and Patricia G. Wilkins, all of Suffolk; a sister, Bertha H. Russell of Suffolk; two brothers, Roy Harrell and J.E. Adams, both of Suffolk; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her parents, Ellie Harrell and George Thomas Harrell.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Liberty Baptist Church by the Revs. T.A. Powell and Howard Vinson Jr. Burial will be in Southampton Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home today from 7 to 8 p.m. and other times at 2637 Lake Cohoon Road. Memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Baptist Church Building Fund, 2601 Godwin Blvd., Suffolk, Va. 23434.
