Isaac Neal Tyler, 70, of 2112 Spadina Ave., died June 20, 1996, in a local hospital.
Mr. Tyler, a native of Yorktown, Va., was retired from the sanitation department of the city of Norfolk. He was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, Norfolk, and the church's usher board.
Survivors include his wife, Lula J. Tyler; a daughter, Augustine Wilkins; two stepdaughters, Jessie Ramsey and Jean E. Wynn; two stepsons, Melvin King and William Alston King; 22 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by a son, Isaac Tyler Jr. and a stepdaughter, Marie D. Bonner.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Mount Lebanon Baptist Church by Pastor Rev. Ronnie D. Joyner. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The remains will lie in state at the church from 9 a.m. until the hour of service. Family and friends will assemble at the above address at 10 a.m. Hale Funeral Home is in charge.
