NORFOLK - Lee Ethel Anderson, 95, of the 300 block of East 26th St., died June 19, 1996, in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Anderson, the widow of Leslie Anderson, was a native of Norfolk County, Va. She was a member and deaconess of Shiloh Baptist Church, Norfolk, where she was also a member of the Usher Board (NU)1. She retired as a presser from Sam Fingerstein after 35 years of service.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Rosena V. Fentress and Cloateen Wideman, both of Norfolk; a daughter-in-law, Henrietta Whitehurst; a son, Edward Whitehurst of Norfolk; a brother, Bradley Walker; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Ellen Morris and John L. Morris.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday by Dr. John H. Foster in Shiloh Baptist Church. Burial will be in Roosevelt Cemetery. The family will assemble at 2704 Colchester Crescent for the funeral procession. Graves Funeral Home is in charge.
