MARY N. MARTINETTE

Mary Novello Martinette, 84, of the 5700 block of West Norfolk Road, died June 22, 1996.

She was a native of Jersey City, N.J. and was the widow of Ralph Martinette. She was a member of the Church of the Resurrection.

Mrs. Martinette is survived by two daughters, Adeline Ziegenhain of Portsmouth and Rose Marie Auck and her husband Kenneth W. of St. Louis Mo.; a sister, Anna Baldassarre of New Jersey; a brother, Mike Novello of New Jersey; five grandchildren, Karen Horton and her husband, Marty, of Chesapeake, Annette Buttery and her husband, Nigel, of Suffolk, Marie Pendergast and her husband, Tim, of St. Louis, Mike Auck and his wife, Annette of St. Louis, Tom Auck and his wife, Laura of St. Louis; nine great-grandchildren, Shannon M. Kammier, Ryan Horton, Chris and Sean Buttery, Katie, Lorie and Christy Pendergast, Mike and Tony Auck. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Pete Ziegenhain.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 7:30 p.m. Monday in Church of the Resurrection, Father James V. Carr officiating. The family will be at the church to receive friends Monday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the building fund of the Church of the Resurrection on Cedar Lane. Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel is in charge. A gravesite service will be held Tuesday, June 25 at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park.
