Clara E. Kovalik, 82, passed away Thursday, June 20, 1996 at home.
She was born in Lodi, Ohio on March 9, 1914 to Gustaf and Minnie Pfanenschwarz and was a lifetime resident of Medina County. Mrs. Kovalik was a homemaker and a past member of the Rural Home Club World War II and the Farm Bureau.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. James (Joan) Rollins of Maumee, Ohio; two sons, Paul and his wife, Nyla Kovalik of West Salem, Ohio, Richard and his wife, Terrie Kovalik of Chesapeake; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Clarence and his wife, Bernice Pfanenschwarz of Lakeland, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew in 1988 and brother, Harold.
A funeral will be Monday, June 24, 1996 at 11 a.m. in Parker and Son Funeral Home, 210 Medina St. Lodi, Ohio. The Rev. George Swartzfager will officiate. Visitation will be today from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Lodi. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Medina County, 797 North Court St., Medina, Ohio 44256.
