Gail Kuehner Rakes, 41, of the 3800 block of Whaleyville Blvd., died June 21, 1996, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mrs. Rakes, a native of Philadelphia, was a floral designer.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry N. Rakes; her mother, Faye Powers Kuehner of Bala Cynwyd, Pa.; and a brother, Paul P. Kuehner of Philadelphia.
The remains will be shipped to West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, Pa., for burial. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling arrangements.
