NORFOLK - Robert Stephen Barilla, 41, of the 8200 block of McCloy Road, died June 22, 1996, in Sentara Leigh Hospital.
Mr. Barilla was born in Portsmouth and was a Catholic. He was a body technician at Bay Chevrolet.
Survivors include his mother, Anne T. Barilla of Virginia Beach; four sisters, Christine Scoteae of Columbia, S.C., Margaret Anne Hill of Virginia Beach, Kathleen Patricia Miller of Bellville, Ill., and Marie Elaine Milligan of Norfolk; and a brother, Paul J. Barilla of Chicago.
A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Ascension Catholic Church, Virginia Beach, by Pastor James E. Parke. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may join the family from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, where the Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
